If purpose is the reason why our teams exist, our vision is what it looks like to reach the desired goal (under God). Clear and authentic vision has the power to inspire, motivate, guide, and shape action. In this module, we consider what vision is (including how it differs to mission), how to shape vision effectively, and also how to share it with your team (and beyond). Whether you're team is new—or long established—this module will help you to define and/or develop your vision, especially ensuring alignment with your team's purpose.

  1. Prework: There are some pre-workshop reflection questions.
  2. Workshop: The workshop focuses on: (a) WHAT is Vision; (b) HOW to SHAPE Vision); and (c) HOW to SHARE Vision.
  3. Homework: (a) Complete the Worksheet; (b) Discuss and collaborate on your vision with your team.
