The purpose of this role is to: (a) to oversee and grow the youth ministry at St Bart’s, assisting (within that age group) to fulfil our mission to make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ for God’s glory; and (b) identify and train leaders for youth ministry, and (c) lead the Sunday CHARGE discussion group, participate in Kids Club, and lead our weekly Youth Group, CHARGE. Over the past four years we have significantly extended our digital reach. Every week we have sizeable numbers of people joining us online and—in 2023—had over 100k accesses of online resources. The purpose of this role is to work closely with the ministry team in coordinating the digital production of the online weekend services and development of other digital resources in line with our mission and VISION 2025 goals. The purpose of this role is to take primary leadership responsibility for one of our sites (i.e., in Toowoomba) and a department portfolio (which would be negotiated based on the candidate's skills, passion, and our local need). As a minister, the role would also be active in Sunday service leading, preaching, pastoral care, and general ministry responsibilities.
