Whilst Paul had planted and pastored (for some 18 months) the church in Corinth, they were now plagued by a range of leadership, moral, liturgical, and theological issues. In the face of worldliness and individualism, the church in (manifested in a wide range of issues for the church in Corinth!), Paul challenges the church to unity and holiness because the Gospel changes everything!
