Prayer Points for Anglican Overseas Aid
Give thanks for AOA’s local partner, Cathedral Relief Service, and its dedication to the most vulnerable women, children and families in Kolkata, India. Ask for wisdom and guidance for the staff as they bring hope to those experiencing child marriages, abuse, and unemployment and struggling to access to education and healthcare. May hearts be opened to see women and children as Christ does.
Pray for protection and guidance for the staff of the Anglican Diocese of Nampula, Mozambique as they bring emergency relief to communities impacted by political insecurity, violence and a devastating tropical cyclone. There is urgent need for shelter, safe places and protection for all women, children and people living with disabilities, for people facing increased health risks of cholera and malaria, for children who face malnutrition, and for restored livelihoods.
Pray for God to pour out His compassion and love on the people of Myanmar, already suffering from poverty, and now the aftermath of a significant earthquake; pray for hope and comfort, that the people will be provided with food, water, shelter and medical treatment where needed.
