Pray for:

South Sudan. Pray that malaria will not spread and that the fragile healthcare system will be able to support all impacted by recent flooding. Pray also that God would give AOA’s local aid partner strength, wisdom and protection as it provides much-needed food, mosquito nets, tents and other necessary services to improve people’s living standards.

Mozambique. Pray for Nampula-based staff unable to leave their home until post-election violence and protests subside. Pray for peace and justice to prevail. And for those who are grieving the deaths of loved ones killed during the protests and for the recovery of those injured.

Gaza. Join AOA in prayer for al-Ahli Arab Hospital, currently seeing around 750 patients a day with minimal supplies and food. For needed medical equipment, fuel, food, and water needed to support patients. We give thanks for the service, courage and care of staff. Pray for the release of all captives, and that your peace and justice will prevail.

Australia. We give thanks for all that has been achieved this year, seeking justice, working towards a renewed creation, and responding to disasters around the world. Pray that staff at AOA, and overseas partners, have a restorative break as they enter a new year. Lastly, we give thanks for our supporters, who faithfully journey with and support the work of AOA.
