For many people, Christmas is a time where we gather with extra family and friends, many who might not yet be followers of Jesus. This encouraged us to think of a fun activity that would become a wonderful opportunity for conversations about the real meaning and story of Christmas. Hence, the Christmas table runner!

The table runner has been custom designed by St Bartʼs Kids and features outline artwork of Bible characters and scenes featured in the Nativity story. It is the ultimate fun centrepiece activity for families of all ages.

Suggested Ways to use this Print - Christmas Workshop

We chose to have the design commercially printed on beautiful cotton canvas and invited people to a Christmas Workshop to begin their colourful designs. We had a team cut and hem all the table runners and then we packaged them up with some quality permanent fabric pens. There were all-ages present as households ‘gathered round the table’ and added colour to their canvas. Add some live music and a sausage sizzle and the ultimate relaxing afternoon was created!

We used a wonderful Queensland company called Cloth Cuts and had the design printed on 150cm wide Cotton Canvas (240gsm). The final measurements of the cut table runners were 50cm x 150cm.

Alternatively, you can also download and print the design onto A3 (or A4) quality paper and use as individual placemats for dinner tables.
