Each advent is an opportunity to prepare to celebrate Christmas by looking back to Christ’s first coming and looking forward to his second coming when he will make all things new and redeem our fallen creation. Our hope and prayer is that these beautiful candles and the Advent devotional will help point our hearts to God as we rejoice in the coming of the Saviour. Lighting the candles and reading the devotional together would be a great activity for the household as they gather for dinner time.

There is one candle for each week of advent:

• Hope = purple

• Peace = purple
• Joy = pink
• Love = purple
• Adore = white (for Christmas Eve)

Safety

• Never leave candle unattended when burning - always be within sight
• Keep away from flammable items
• Keep out of reach of children
