What are the root causes of poverty? What does the Bible say about poverty? What role do Christians have in addressing it through aid and development? In this first part of the course we begin by looking at what the Bible says about poverty and see that this is not God’s intention for his creation. We then consider the idea of ‘worldviews’ and how this, as well as different faiths, affects poverty.
