Mission Partner Launch

February 8, 2022

Last week as we began our series in Encountering Jesus, we saw that the salvation that Jesus offers isn’t just for a particular people group but it is for all the nations. With this in mind, it is a great joy to be able to partner with people with very different frontlines than ours! Today we are launching our mission partners for the year. In this news booklet, you’ll be able to find out more details about who we are supporting this year, and how they serve the Lord.

Every week this year, we will be highlighting a different partner and praying for them throughout the week. You’ll be able to find their prayer points on the back of the news sheet, on the website, and in the snippets email every week. If you would like to find out more about a mission partner or want to get into contact with them directly, you can go see their mission liaison person as noted in the slide for the partner.

Please be praying that our support in prayer, finances, and practical ways would be of great encouragement to our partners, that they may be spurred on in their ministries.

Changes in Mission Partners.

  • The Lean Family: After praying and discerning, the Leans have decided to not return to PNG for longterm mission work. Please give great thanks to God for all their hard work over the years with Samaritan’s Purse and pray for them that they would have peace about their decision & that they would continue to be a blessing to many here in Toowoomba as they serve God on their frontlines.
  • Middle Ridge State School: For 2021, Ben Gaydon was the chaplain at Middle Ridge but has decided not to continue. Please pray that God would raise up someone to replace him quickly. Continue to pray for SU as they seek to appoint 11 new chaplains in our region.
