One of the best things about working in the church office is the privilege of being a part of, and to observe, many behind the scenes things that happen through the week. Each week, volunteers perform a myriad of tasks; from those who govern our church, to those who weed the garden beds, and others still, to cook, serve, clean, restock supplies. Readings are sent to our readers, musicians practise, and much, much more. This reminds me that we are one body of many parts, each essential to the others, and what a joy it is to see and be a part of it all. 

If you do not yet serve in some way at St Bart’s, I encourage you to take a next step and explore ways that you can serve. At present we are seeking people to help on our maintenance team; persons to call upon if we need any minor repairs done. If you can competently use a hammer, screwdriver or paperclip, please have a chat with one of our Wardens or the Next Steps team, to express your interest. We’d love to hear from you!
