In the busyness of life, it might be hard to add one extra thing into the calendar. So why bother? Here are three common objections and responses about coming along to FOCUS:

#1 TIME: I have a lot on
Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon is a whole weekend. But, the benefit is that it is a whole weekend. This means there is plenty of space to explore the beach, find a lovely coffee shop, and have space to chat over wine or toast marshmallows on the bonfire. Time away at the beach with others could be a great reset.

#2 COST: seems expensive

We try to keep the cost affordable, which includes 5 meals, 2 nights of accommodation, and supports a guest speaker. If cost is a barrier, please speak with Amy as sponsorship is available. #3 CHURCH CAMP: will I know anyone?!

Part of the joy of FOCUS is that no one will know everyone. Each year, we have people join us from every congregation, and from those who connect online. One of the best ways to know one person is to invite someone to come along with you. If you register early, we can place you in the same shared ensuite room or dorm. So come along and try FOCUS!
