St Bart's Kids (Sundays)

SUNDAYS 9.30-11.00AM @ St Bart’s

Every Sunday at 9.30AM during our Contemporary Service, children aged 0-12 have the opportunity to engage in an amazing kid’s programme. Starting in the service with adults, children sing and participate in a Children’s Talk linked with what the adults are learning. After the Children’s Talk, kids break into age appropriate groups (crèche, Junior Sunday School, and Senior Sunday School) and continue their time of singing, craft, learning, games, and fun! If you would like your child to be part of this when you visit, simply visit the check-in desk when you enter the church building.

For more info, visit the 9.30AM Contemporary Service page.

St Bart's Kids Club

FRIDAYS 3.30-5.30PM @ St Bart’s

Every Friday from 3.30-5.15PM, children across a wide range of ages (3 years old to Grade 6) have a great time at St Bart’s Kids Club. Children engage in a wide range of fun activities, song, games, and learning. There’s also opportunities for age-specific times of learning in small groups. Teenagers are welcome to attend, and encouraged to be junior leaders. For more information, contact the church office.

mainly music

THURSDAYS  9.15AM and 10.30AM (Two Sessions) @ St Bart’s

mainly music is a fun, interactive music session where a child and their parent or care giver can enjoy music, movement, interaction, rhymes, puppets and more. The sessions are structured, focusing in on the interaction between parent and child. The learning that takes place is amazing, especially with fine motors skills, gross movement, literacy, numeracy, and more. The music session is followed by morning tea and play – or if you’re an adult, morning tea and connection with other adults. This is the chance you can have to recharge your batteries while your child plays. For more information, contact the church office. Please note that both sessions are currently full.

Creating a Safe Environment

At St Bart's, we're committed to creating an environment of safety and wellbeing for every single person, especially our children. As part of this, our Parish has implemented a Child Protection Risk Management Plan to assist in protecting our children and other vulnerable people from harm in our church. This includes the screening of clergy, staff, volunteers, and office holders in our parish by using the Queensland Government's Blue Card Services. A Code of Conduct and safe ministry check is provided for all people working with children.
