It’s not often there is an opportunity to spend a relaxed 2+ days learning from an international apologist - but that’s what you can look forward to at the FOCUS Weekend Away! Dan Paterson is the founder of Questioning Christianity, a ministry helping people connect the Christian story to life’s deepest questions. 

Across the weekend we’re going to enjoy three distinct, interactive sessions: 

Session 1: Can I trust the Bible? Contradictions, propaganda, historically inaccurate; the criticisms of the Bible are vast. Can we really trust a book that’s been translated so many times, and used to support slavery and Holy War?

Session 2: Interactive Q&A where you’ll be able to vote on hard questions, hear answers, and learn how you might be able to answer other people’s questions.

Session 3: Sermon on Road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-32), exploring how all the Bible points to Jesus. 

Across the sessions there is space to discuss it with others, hear other’s stories, pray, and worship together. The weekend gives us space to dive deep as disciples, that we don’t normally get on a Sunday. The youngest disciples won’t miss out either - with a complementary St Bart’s Kids program.
