This week we continue our series 'Following Jesus'.
The forth topic is Go. The idea that we are sent out by God to tell others about Him.
If you were going on a journey to somewhere really cold, what would you need to take?
This week we think about what it means to 'Go'. Our passage this week looks at Jesus words when we sent the 12 disciples out for the first time.
The children in Sunday school are looking at the great commission, and how Jesus commanded that they disciples go and teach people about the Gospel.
It is an amazing thing to be part of. That is, we can be part of God's Kingdom, and making it bigger.
18 Then Jesus came to them. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 So you must go and make disciples of all nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And you can be sure that I am always with you, to the very end.”
Talking together is a resource for small groups and families that highlights the passage that was taught on Sunday.
Parent page is a short page, helping parents and carers understand what the children focused on in Sunday school and creche.
