That more and more kids would feel comfortable to seek help from Chaplain, without warped perceptions of my role; That families would continue to reach out for support when there is a risk of separation (Cause this effect the teenagers as much as the parents sadly); That bullying continues to drop; That I would have wisdom from God on what to say and what not to say in hard conversations; That I would be salt and light for our School staff and support teams

Today is filled with mixed emotions are we say farewell to the Browne Family! It has been such a great privilege over the past two and a half years to serve our Lord together with the Brownes at St Bart’s. It has also been so encouraging as we’ve witnessed their growth and development, ordinations, and growing family. Please join with me in giving great thanks to God for the Brownes and be sure to join in prayer as they prepare for a new season of ministry in Dalby.
David and the family will be commissioned at Dalby on June 20 at 7PM. Please do come along, as everyone is very welcome to attend. We look forward with great anticipation to hear of how the Lord is at work in and through the family as they move to Dalby!
Give thanks for the BCA organisation which has a vision to take the gospel into areas that for one reason or another have no ministers. Most often isolated towns with dwindling populations. Give thanks for the people who go into those isolated townships to serve with BCA. Living in the towns while preaching the gospel and sharing the love of God. Bless the finances of BCA that will enable them to keep teams in the field. Bless the leadership of BCA with wisdom as the recruit people to serve with BCA and bless them with the wisdom to be good stewards as they administer the finances and direction of the ministry.

Give thanks for the wonderful welcome in Kudjip, friendships that the children have made, for the easing of security restrictions. Please pray for strength and encouragement as the initial excitement settles, for Dave and Mary as they learn the language, that the family will continue to trust that God is in control in the face of hard times
Pray for: precious time with family; for connections and support network to grow; for peace in South Sudan; for blessing on ministry projects; that the stolen documents be replaced. Give thanks for Bishop Daniel and Rachel's proclamation of the Gospel; Daniel’s safe return to Australia.
We have an incredible ministry and admin team at St Bart’s, and we’re currently inviting applicants for two roles to join the team. The first role, Assistant Minister, will be to replace David Browne as he leaves to take up leadership of Dalby Anglican in late June. The second role, Music and Communications Intern/Minister, will be to replace Michael’s role as (God willing) he will be ordained in early December and take up a position as Assistant Curate at a place determined by the Archbishop.
Our rosters for June and July (for 7.30AM, 9.30AM, and 6PM) are now available. You can download them from our website (also below) located under 'services', or if you would prefer, pick up a printed copy from Church this Sunday. Thankful to God for the phenomenal servant hearts of so many people and their desire to serve God in the making and maturing of disciples.
