1000 Acts of Kindness Project

Today we begin our new series on ‘Winter Warmers’ exploring four very rare fruit: kindness, peace, patience, and self-control. We'll be opening up the Bible to explore what it looks like to be fruitful in godly ways as we seek follow Jesus. But we don't just want to explore - we want to put these fruit into practice! Therefore, throughout the series, we're aiming to collectively demonstrate at least 1000 acts of kindness in our city.

I’m very excited that we will be hosting two fantastic events in August with the Rev’d Dr John Dickson. John (PhD, Ancient History) is the author of more than a dozen books, Rector of St Andrew’s Roseville (Sydney), and a busy public speaker. He has hosted TV documentaries and is a regular media communicator. In 2007, he founded the Centre for Public Christianity. He has had lecturing and research positions at both Macquarie University (Sydney) and the University of Sydney, where he teaches a course on the historical Jesus.
