Kick off Dates for 2017 for children and youth
At St Bart's we have a range of different ministries for different ages.
Children and youth during the 9.30am Sunday service
During our weekly services, every week we have teaching material for all ages.
Creche is available, along with junior and senior Sunday school also available. This is on every single week of the year.
Also available is a youth discussion group, Charge on Sundays available every week of the year. This happens shortly after the sermon. The youth are invited to take communion if they would like, then the discussion group, led by one of the youth leaders, talks the sermon, and gives youth a chance to talk about and ask questions of the sermon.
All these ministries run through the holiday period, and every week of the year.
Our mainly music program on Thursdays hosts 2 sessions. One at 9.15am and another at 10.30am, during school terms. 'mainly music' is a fun music session for families with young children to enjoy together and for children to grow developmentally.
Kick off Date: 2 Feb.
Bookings essential! Call the church office on 4636 2922 to enquire about the waiting list.
Kids Club is a fun time for children aged 3 through to children in grade 6. The children are sorted into three main age groups: age 3 to prep, grade 1 - grade 3, and grade 4 to grade 6. Each have their own different story to learn which is age appropriate, and comes with games and activities. Every week the children have afternoon tea, play games, and hear a story from the Bible.
On Fridays during school terms.
Kick off Date: 3 Feb
CHARGE meets on Friday nights from 6.30PM to 9.00PM and kicks off with young people connecting together, playing some games, and sharing a meal. After this we move into some inventive (and occasionally messy) games before having some group time to learn more about God. Everyone in Grades 7-12 is very welcome to join us! For more information, contact our Youth and Young Adults Minister, Peter Dutton.
